Day 3 in Hedley

Francois is at a bed & breakfast "Colonial Inn" in Hedley, located between Princeton & Osoyoos. No internet connection there. I'm glad you had a good day and will look forward to tomorrow's diary and pictures.

Hey Dude,

Sorry I was not there to see you guys go. Try and visit as many "Tims" and Star$" as you can!

All the best.

PS. The "Earls Girls" send their best wishes!.

Hey Murray,
i haven't been doing a very good job so far of stopping at Tims and Starbucks as I honestly haven't seen that many. As a result, my coffee consumption in the last four days has dropped dramatically. I'll make up for it once i get into Ontario where there's a Timmies on every block.

The weathers great, i hope your getting out and riding too. Cheers :)

Hello Francois,

I guess you answered my mom's quetion (What happens if you get a leg cramp?)

We are all excited for you, and will certainly be checking up to see where you are.

All the best!!

My legs are feeling much better now. Actually they are more sore than they've ever been, but its a good muscle soreness, unlike that sodium-imbalance cramping that I experienced a couple days ago while going up to Manning Park.

How are things at Jamocaz going?

Hey guys. I'm sure you'll feel the cramping during the first little bit after which your body gets used to it and it'll all be "downhill" from there. Keep it up and look forward to your next post.

P.S. Forget the legs, how's your ass?

P.P.S. Henry, Karim and I hit Riverrock last night. Practicing for your return.

jim, carl and I picked up some cards yesterday and played two poker tournaments last night and three more tonight. Just because I'm on a bike trip doesn't mean I'm not practicing. I'll be ready for you guys when I get back.

As for my butt, it was quite sore yesterday, felt like someone set fire to it. Jim and Carl reported pretty much the same as well. But today its much better for all of us.

I see you've started the trip. You're not going to believe this but Elaine and I were in Harrison Hot Springs on the 25th staying at Kara's RV Park just across the street from the pool. We went for a swim from 5:30 until 6:15 and then had dinner at the Bavarian restaurant. We must have just missed you! We are dieting and off the beer and carbs. I'm now down to 180 and hope to reach 170 before the end of June. I'll keep watching your progress. Say I to the guys. Regards, Al
