I see you've started the trip. You're not going to believe this but Elaine and I were in Harrison Hot Springs on the 25th staying at Kara's RV Park just across the street from the pool. We went for a swim from 5:30 until 6:15 and then had dinner at the Bavarian restaurant. We must have just missed you! We are dieting and off the beer and carbs. I'm now down to 180 and hope to reach 170 before the end of June. I'll keep watching your progress. Say I to the guys. Regards, Al

Hey Al, Elaine,
sorry we missed you in Harisson. Would have been great to hook up there on such a beautiful day. Congrats on the successful dieting. I'm not sure I approve of the lack of beer though :)

Great series of pictures, Francois! Keep it up! Checking your daily updates has now become a form of entertainment all in itself ;-)

Of all pictures, the one where Jim and Carl have this "one million dollar" smile with the "STEEP GRADE AHEAD" road sign in the foreground! You sure had your breaks properly adjusted? :D

We were very pleased when we came across that sign and we hit some good speeds going down that hill. :)

Crazyness reigns supreme!

Hey Francois!

I'm totally impressed that you're biking across Canada......since I'm like, having a heart attack after like, one cycling class at the gym....yes, I suck ;)

But seriously, congratulations.....you finally get to realize a dream. All the McGrath's are cheering for you.

Snaps for you!!!

P.S. I agree with Marissa.....you're crazy :D

Are you tired yet?

Do you want me to come and get you?? ha ha, just kidding. I can see from your photos that you are totally enjoying yourselves...that's grrrreat! The weather also seems like its cooperating with you too. The weather in Ontario has been fairly decent as well, we can't wait for you to peddle your way over here. We are steadily planning the many dishes we will prepare to feast in your honour (although we've been feasting plenty while waiting for you).

The kids and I miss you lots and hope that you are in good health and spirit. Can't wait to webcam you later. Take care dudes!

Perfect time for a ride....

Hey Francois,

You have totally lucked out with the weather.

It seems like your enjoying the surroundings where ever you are. By the way you have some great pics.

That is awesome that you have met another chap that is going accross Canada. Maybe you should race him. :D .

Everything is great at the store. When the sun is out we are super busy. But we have a new weapon to bring in people..... Chocolate covered strawberries. Can you belive I sold over 369 of them in about 4hrs.

Anyways, we are always checking up on you. We can't wait to read your next entry. Your our new reality show... Hey, maybe you will be the next mark Brunett. Build show from your own expierience.

Get face gear: HUGE mosquitoes

Hello Frankie,

Wow, I think it's great! Congratulations on a start to a courageous challenge.

Jacob (2yrs) and I are going to be flying into Winnipeg on June 23rd to visit family just south of the border until July 4th. (And they call you nuts!) Maybe we could meet up for a beer if your in the area at the same time!? : )

Best of Luck!

Amy

P.S.May I recommend some face gear for the mosquitoes when you hit that area? Those suckers are HUGE around there!
