Nice going guys. Greenwood may be the smallest town but all Greenwoods have the biggest heart.

Looks like you're having a BLAST

Hi Gents - Great to see the "great journey" has begun and is going well. I see by the pic's you're making the most of the BC scenery, the BC wildlife, and the local BC Dining!

Francois, looking forward to hearing more once you get to TO. In the interim, I will be taking full advantage of M's wait time here - we'll be sampling TO's vast patio dining options and enjoying the many festivals while they wait for your arrival.

See you soon - take care!

"Greenwood may be the smallest town but all Greenwoods have the biggest heart." - well said!

I was thinking... was the city founded by Carl's predcessors in long looong past?

In any event, when Carl becomes rich, he should buy the small hamlet and claim it for himself. This will right the path of history! ;)

YOU are the anarchist after whom they named it!

Great going, dude! Remember, we're counting on you to plant the Ronin flag at the top of Mount Huji-huhu. You DID bring it, didn't you? Lots of love, AnneG.

Do not go gently into that good night...

Impressive guys. Good on you to keep franco company. He needs all these memories to long for through the prairies!

Keep it up, and keep on having fun. I am with you in spirit - yeah and how much does that help your leg push the peddle?!$%&. I know, but hopefully the thought will be worth a push or two ;).

Way to go guys!

Francois, Carl & Jim - hope the rain wasn't too much for you today as you made your way towards Alberta!

Francois - all the best for the rest of your trip. I hope you have good tunes on the Ipod shuffle to keep you company during your solo journey onward.

Take care,
Kirsty

Hey Francois!

I'm totally impressed that you're biking across Canada......since I'm like, having a heart attack after like, one cycling class at the gym....yes, I suck ;)

But seriously, congratulations.....you finally get to realize a dream. All the McGrath's are cheering for you.

Snaps for you!!!

~Sarah~

P.S. I agree with Marissa.....you're crazy :D

Hey Sarah,
thanks for dropping by my website. After today's ride up to Paulson Summit I'm also beginning to think that I'm crazy. I was actually talking to myself outloud at one point during the descent though I won't tell you what I was saying. Please say hi to your mom & dad for me.

Olga,
thats fantastic about the chocolate covered strawberries. I sure would love to eat some of those right now :-)

Glad to hear you guys are checking the site regularly. Knowing there are people actually reading helps motivate me to keep updating it.

Forgive my ignorance but who is Mark Brunett?

The town of Greenwood was founded by a fellow with the last name of 'Wood'. I'm not sure how/why the 'green' was added in front of 'Wood'. Perhaps it might be due to the copper-related history of the town.
